Did you know that when the labels fall off your spice containers, fennel seed looks remarkably like caraway seed until you've already crushed & sprinkled it into what you're making and the smell hits you?

Ah well. Both of them go well with pork, maybe this will be one of those inadvertent brilliant invention moments.
