Adventures in Raw Food, Part III: Son of Raw Food Goes to College

After getting the grinder repaired and put back together the RIGHT way, I finished grinding up everything, added the Chik'n Chunx(tm), and prepared the "slurry". Lessons learned:

1. No, poking a hole in the end of a gelcap does not mean you will be able to direct the flow of liquid when you squeeze it
2. Salmon Oil gelcaps rival tauntauns in the "I thought they smelled bad on the outside" factor
3. As a result, the cats are now attempting to have carnal relations with a greasy spot on my shirt

Finally got everything mixed together (my call to James "this looks disturbingly like meatloaf!"), packed in containers and in the freezer for 24 hours to kill off any lingering bacteria. Then we see if the cats will narf on it right away or if they need to be transitioned. But guessing by the reaction I'm getting to the scents of my pants and my shirt right now, I think interest is not going to be an issue.

Huzzah! Not nearly as hard as jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.
