I really want to stress how awesome the group at felinediabetes.com is. They're a wealth of information and a fantastic, supportive community, and I have no doubt they are the full reason Raist is "off the juice" so quickly. The information on everything from canned food protein/carb/fat/phosphorous ratios to diagrams of how to pull insulin microdoses to how to plot a blood glucose curve at home to just having someone to talk to at 2 am when you're freaking out. They absolutely saved my sanity. And they even threw Raistlin an "off the juice" party:
The only problem they have is that the site is SO full of data and wonderful people that the message board gets overloaded on a fairly regular basis, and they really need support to help get more space to run it in. So I'm just saying, if you have an extra buck lying around this week, these guys are a very very good cause who could use it desperately. And if you don't have a buck (as many of us don't these days) then even a kind word, or passing on info about them if you know someone with a diabetic pet, would be rockin' as well.
